EFL League Two

I tried and failed last week to select five players to have standout weekends in the EFL. So I'll try again. This time, I cover a midfielder pivotal to a high-flying Championship side, a League One winger making a goal-scoring impression, and a League Two striker trying to help a "dead man walking".

Barnet top League Two after an unbeaten start to the campaign. They finished last season on red-hot form and have showed no sign of slowing down so far this term. But are they due to fall away, or are we witnessing another club go from the National League to League One in a matter of seasons?

It's prediction time and first up we have League Two. Last time out, Bromley reigned supreme, with MK Dons and Cambridge not far behind. With some serious spending being done in the window, this season promises to be just as dramatic at both ends of the division.
