17.08.26, 14:52 Updated 17.08.26, 14:54
It took just four minutes for Derensili Sanches Fernandes to introduce himself to the Huddersfield Town faithful. As he pulled on his golden mask and posed in front of the Riverside Stand, it was hard not to believe that Huddersfield may have landed on a potential superstar.
On the 21st of July, Huddersfield Town confirmed Derensili Sanches Fernandes as their fifth signing of the summer. 25 years of age from Excelsior Rotterdam, on a four-year deal for a fee that was described by the club as significant.
Sporting director Chris Markham did not undersell the flying Dutchman during the club’s press release.
